LATE-STARTERS
Although more families are learning about this, many still don't hear about potty whispering until their children are past the first window of learning which is generally open from 0-6 months–basically until a child becomes mobile. Recent research shows that it is still possible to begin after this first sensitive period. Some babies remain receptive beyond 6 months, and other windows of opportunity open at different times during a child's development. Depending on the age of your child, you may need to slightly modify part of your approach. What matters most is your attitude and ability to find a healthy balance in all that you do with your baby.
